Savery Morgan started dancing at the age of sixteen with the Jacksonville Center of the Arts (JCA). While training at JCA he also attended the Douglas Anderson School of the Performing Arts (DASOTA). At DASOTA he was a member of the DASOTA Dance Theater and Tap Ensemble. He has won awards in modern dance division at the Show Biz Regional and National Competition. He also represented the city of Jacksonville in the NAACP Act-So National Scholarship Competition in 2001. Savery Morgan was also a member of the Dancing through Barriers Ensemble for the Dance Theater of Harlem.
